FOR TODAY September 8th, 2009...
Outside My Window...The sun is shining, it's about 70 degrees, and the katydids and crickets are singing at the same time.
I am thinking...about how unproductive I have been today and how I'd like to just get the house super clean (because it has been neglected for about 6 weeks now), and then sit down and read the Bible.
I am thankful for...My very forgiving children
From the learning rooms...Not much is going on just yet. I like to start in October. Canning is over, so that doesn't clutter my mind. I can think clearly about school work. On the other hand, I have sorted through all my books and discovered that I don't need a thing this year. I have it all already.
From the kitchen...Sugar water is sitting on the stovetop waiting to be put in the bee's feeders, a cast iron pot is waiting to be derusted (I don't think it's going to clean up enough for food use....bummer), lunch dishes need to be washed and the dish washer unloaded.
I am wearing... A pink shirt with cherries on it, a demin skirt, and a navy blue half apron with orange butterflies and white flowers on it.
I am creating...Umm, I'm pretty uncreative today.
I am going...To clean house this afternoon if it hair lips Santa Clause!
I am reading...Snippets of magazines, a couple books, but nothing real recently. I need to read more.
I am hoping...To make something out of this day!
I am hearing...Well, still the crickets and katydids, and surprisingly, no children screaming in the background. Hmm, I might should go check on this.
Around the house...Mayhem more or less. My version of mayhem, which may or may not be anyone else's version of mayhem. : )
One of my favorite things...A clean house (have you noticed a theme today?)
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: A possible trip to Roanoke, a possible baby shower, several possible guests, a community picnic, and hopefully, time around the house...oh, and baking.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...

Well, I love reading your blog, so you better not stop on my account. You should let Joe look at that cast iron before you give up on it. And it's Claus, not Clause :)
Love ya dearie!
