Outside My Window...It is foggy, 45 degrees, and drippy, drippy. I love days like this except that Aaron needs to be working this week, and it's supposed to be this way all week.
I am thinking...About all the things that I need to get accomplished this week.
I am thankful for...My family. I love them very much and look forward to spending some extra time with Aaron and the kids together over the holidays
From the kitchen...We just finished eating breakfast of mini pumpkin muffins, sausage balls, homemade yogurt with granola, and apple juice. Now I need to unload the dishwasher and wash breakfast dishes.
I am wearing...a black shirt with my reversible pink/brown down vest that Aaron gave me, blue jeans and pink toe nail polish. : )
I am creating...I am finished creating for right now! I have worked for weeks and weeks on my Christmas crafting and I finished as of yesterday! Woohoo!
I am going...Nowhere. I'm staying home all day....all week.
I am reading...I am almost finished with, yes, still Created to Be His Helpmeet by Debi Pearl which I have been reading for over 6 months now.. I get about 3-4 pages read a day, so it takes a while. EXCELLENT BOOK though. Savannah and I are almost through reading The Borrowers by Mary Norton. It's the first of five in the series.
I am hoping...To have an excellent week. We are supposed to go out of town next Sunday and I have much to do between now and then.
I am hearing...Katie Mae is squealing (happily) in Savannah and Alan's room. Alan is walking around with his leg in a Tinkertoy canister and making plenty of noise doing it. Savannah is laughing at Alan. (the heater in the office too)
Around the house...It's not terribly messy, but somewhat cluttered....it's time for one more massive overhaul of a decluttering/cleaning.
One of my favorite things...EGGNOG this time of year. I don't have any right now though and I'm am sad; I hope I can get some more before they stop selling it for the year.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: I don't have a car for the entire week, as it is in the body shop from when Aaron hit a deer on Nov. 29th. I am thrilled to not even have the option of going anywhere this week, so I'll be home...spending time with the children, schooling with Savannah, wrapping all the Christmas gifts, as I have not yet started wrapping, baking cookies to take to NY with us, cleaning the house, and packing for NY.
Notice the side view mirror that is taped on. It was just hanging by the wires and nothing else. Also, the antlers made a dent above the windshield and made 8-10 small dents on the passenger door. It was quite the harrowing experience.

I love when you do this...I love hearing all the details of your day and your plans- it makes me feel like we have done some catching up. No baby yet- thank goodness- there is still so much I am trying to get done. Hope you have a fun and safe holiday. I'll let you know when we have Ezra.
Wow Jen, the new car, that really stinks. Thank goodness noone was hurt, right?
I have enjoyed catching up on your blog today. I am supposed to be finishing my Christmas gifts for the kids but decided to eat in front of the computer and spend time catching up.
Sounds like you are having a great week at home. I will be praying for safe travels for you and your family over the holidays. Give us a call when you get back.
