Yes, it really did snow this past week. On March 28th, we awoke to a white ground with the snow still steadily falling. It was about 30 degrees outside, and the wind was not bad (we live on top of a hill and wind can be, and usually is, strong), so the kids and I went out to play in probably the last snow of the year.

The daffodils look so cold huddled under the snow.

The lilac bush is budding! I'm so glad that temperatures haven't gotten cold enough to freeze the buds.

It was the perfect snowman building snow. We rarely get wet snows. Usually it's very cold and windy when it snows here. Alan usually gets right on shoveling the sidewalks when he goes out, so we took all that snow and made a snowman out of it! It was fun building a snowman for once!

The lilac bush has already started leafing out!

Alan had been riding the scooter and had mud splattered on his face. What a goof ball!

The forsythia is in full bloom. It's so beautiful with the snowfall on it!

Two snow bunnies...
