While eating lunch today, Katie Mae picked up two small crusts of bread that she had left on her plate. (She still had a bit less than a qtr of a sandwich to eat and several slices of apple.) She picked up the two crusts of bread, which were apparently stale, and said, "Mama, I just love the dried out bread. I'm going to save it for last because I love it so much!" She then tried to share a tiny small piece of her "treat" with me, but I told her she didn't have to share her treat with me but thank you.
