New Pictures

Katie was one month old the day this was taken on June 7th.

Alan sure does love her little sister. He likes to "pet" her.

Katie is focusing so much on objects and people. She enjoyed watching Savannah swing a stuffed rabbit in front of her face for about 30 minutes. Savannah was "rabbit swinging" while I took this picture.


At last, I have a few pictures to update my blog with! I finally had to upload the pictures to the computer cause my memory on my camera was full. : )
Katie has been so good today!! It helps that she's been sleeping most of the day though. This morning after breakfast, two friends of mine and their children came to the house and we all went down to the local orchard to pick cherries. We had a lot of fun. Between the three of us mothers, there were 10 kids running all over the place and they had lots of fun (some of the children were neighbors of one of my friends) picking. It wasn't too hot and Katie slept in the wrap the whole time so it worked out just fine. We came home and had grilled cheese sandwiches and ate all the cherries we could eat. We picked red and yellow cherries. The yellow ones seem to be the sweetest.
We've been getting several much needed rain showers in the afternoons this week. Not only does it cool things down a bit, but it was dusty dry too. The gardens and lawns everywhere are thankful (not to mention all the trees and wildlife)!
Not too much new here; we've had a pretty uneventful week. Yesterday we met with the home school group and the kids did wood craft projects. Savannah built and painted an outhouse and Alan built and painted a bi-plane. They always have lots of fun meeting with the group every Thursday. Alan seemed to think that we were going swimming like we did last week, so he was very upset when we got home and never went swimming. Hopefully we'll get to go with the group next week to a state park and we will swim there at the lake.
Well, I must get to dinner!
