Outside My Window...The sky is overcast, the temperature is about 70 degrees. The wind is actually NOT blowing; it's calm and a bird or two are singing
I am thinking...About life.
I am thankful for...The opportunity to make it through each day and see another day begin.
From the learning rooms...Well, not much learning going on. Savannah and Katie Mae are playing "nursery", and Alan is probably learning how to get dirty in some dirt or mulch pile outside.
From the kitchen...Dishes are done, I'm about to make Aaron's lunch and a breakfast sandwich for him, followed by some coffee and muffins because a good friend is coming this morning.
I am wearing...A navy t-shirt (thanks, Sarah!), my brown Mountain Hardware skirt, and my Chacos
I am creating...I am TRYING to create peace and tranquility.
I am going...I will have to go to 4-H this evening, but hopefully nowhere other than that. Chances are, I'll have to go to the bank to at some point. :(
I am reading...Always a bee book or two, a magazine or two, a book on non-violent communication, and I have two other books on motherhood and parenting that I've been given that I'd like to read.
I am hoping...That Aaron will have a great work day. Work is stressful these days, and it does me good when he has a good day.
I am hearing...John Denver singing his heart out in the kitchen on the record player. I love John Denver. Best singer/songwriter ever. He died way too young.
Around the house...Clutter, mayhem, way too much that needs to be done.
One of my Favorite Things...Time with Aaron.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: I'm going to homeschool curriculum fair tomorrow, then my birthday is the day after. The weather I think is supposed to be good for the next few days, so I'd love to get the rest of the garden planted. If I don't do it soon, my plants are going to die!
Here is picture thought I am sharing... Drone cells in one of our hives.

Hey, I like this layout. I actually like it better than the pink. :)
Hey J sounds like a decent week, hope you had a great birthday. M had a blast sitting for you, although.. I think they wore her out, she slept for four hours when she got home hehehee.
Hope you have a wonderful week ahead and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pic of the bee hive, I didn't know you had them. I soooo want to start one myself.
Have a great day.
That photo of the drone cells is quite nice. I love your thoughts on the day too. Glad you told me about your blog.
You crazy lady. When I last talked to you on the way back from the book fair you didn't tell me about your birthday! Happy belated birthday. I always love your journal entries. Matt and I loved the part about Alan learning about dirt. What more does a boy his age need to learn about anyways?
