We've had a good but busy few weeks lately! What few readers I have, do not despair because I hope to post a couple of pictures next week! (I'm going to have to empty my memory card sooner or later because I only have room for a couple more pictures!)
Aaron's grandmother came in last night for a 3 day visit. Aaron's dad, brother, and nephew drove up to Pennsylvania to get her where she had been visiting other relatives, so we all had dinner together. We had a nice evening with family and enjoyed catching up some with Gramma Brown. She will be here with us until Saturday evening when we will take her to Greensboro so she can visit with more family for a few more days before flying back to Arizona where she lives. Savannah and Alan have been looking forward to her coming for such a long time!! Savannah has really enjoyed playing games with her this morning, and they're having a tea party right now.
We've been driving around a friend's Suburban this week while he drives our Subaru. We're both kinda interested in each other's vehicles. I really like the Suburban! There is so much extra space and it appears to be getting better gas mileage than I thought it would. It's also easier to maneuver around than I thought it would be and the kids love it, especially Alan. He thinks it's the coolest thing and calls it our truck. He's always looking for excuses to go get something out of it for me or for himself. I guess it's more macho than a Subaru. : ) I love my little Subaru though and know we'll own another one one day when the kids are older. We haven't decided yet whether or not we'll make the swap permanently. It also depends on whether our friend likes our car!!
Well, I'm off to fix lunch!
